Jessica has been my inspiration ever since I saw her first pikachu cosplay! Because of her I started running/becoming fit and becoming serious about cosplaying and gaming. I find her such a sweet and wonderful person, and it really angers me when I see rude and misogynistic comments on her photos. Leave her alone, she is a woman who deserves respect for showcasing her talents. I hate when people treat her, or any woman, especially one who cosplays, like an object.

I think that it is truly awesome that she has managed to touch so many people and has become an inspiration to many such as yourself to get fit and join the wonderful world of cosplay. I imagine this is most rewarding to her than anything else.

There are always going to be haters. You will have your jealous gals that hate the way she alters her cosplays or her choice of cosplays.

You will have the hardcore fibric nicpicks that will take apart how she makes her cosplays or simply say that she doesn't even make them.

No matter what, someone is going to complain. I have read a lot of different types of drama surrounding Jessica and some of it I actually know are straight up fibs.

I have actually been a fan of Jessica since she was blogging on jessienigri.com when that was still a website she used to connect with her fans. So I have been around since 2009 and have actually held some conversations with her. She is a real down-to-earth darling and she really doesn't consider herself as a famous cosplayer or the queen of cosplay. Hateful comments used to get to her but she eventually developed a thick skin and simply ignores it or laughs at.

Any drama that I read about Jessica whether it is on here or on another website, I simply ignore it because it's just not worth noticing. Though I do have a harder time ignoring how men treat her like an object with boobs. If it is one thing that I cannot stand it is disrespecting a woman and her body. All the "do porn" comments and the just the shallow, perv, comments that you just wouldn't say to her face does get to me. But then again, if she ignores it so will I.

She used to work at Trader Joes but since her schedule was getting too far hectic, she had to quit working there. I believe now she is focusing on cosplaying, conventions, help sponsoring events, and being the spokes model of Killer is Dead game. :)
